When You Come For Your Appointment

All of our new patients undergo an extensive evaluation that will include several forms that you will be asked to fill out, a careful pelvic exam, urinalysis, a test of bladder emptying called uroflowmetry, and depending on your symptoms, possibly a simple office procedure to look into the bladder with a small telescope called cystoscopy.

If necessary, further tests will be scheduled at a later time to evaluate bladder function called urodynamics.  Following the initial evaluation, Dr. Raders will discuss the findings and your treatment options with you.

Throughout this process, we keep in close touch with your primary or referring physician, who is an important part of the treatment team.
